JAMMU, December 26: The Art of Living Jammu Chapter recently conducted two segregated group happiness courses in offline mode.
A happiness workshop was completed in the Gian Mandir Adarsh enclave of Trikuta Nagar Extn, Jammu which ran for 6 days lasting a total of 15 hours at 2/3 hours daily. Another group of participants took place at the Art of Living Kathua Center at Dr. Mengis Hospital. Art of Living Founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s unique Sudarshan Kriya was taught in the workshops conducted by AOL Jammu Chapter and attended by devotees from across the state.
A dedicated team of Jammu Chapter Art of Living teachers Suman Sharma and Shakti Sagar Gupta attended sessions to successfully complete the program at Trikuta Nagar Jammu Center and Bhagwati Prashad led sessions at Kathua Center. Aside from the powerful breathing techniques – yoga, pranayama and meditation – the program also had interactive wisdom sessions that provided practical life tools to cope with any difficult or stressful situation in life. People from different walks of life participated and experienced tremendous relief from ailments, emotional imbalances and physical fitness issues.
Suman Sharma shared that the course, which lasted two to three hours every day for six days, was designed to provide insight into the life skills necessary for the well-being of humanity. Shakti S. Gupta, who also attended sessions, said the unique breathing technique taught during the workshop eliminates stress, fatigue and negative emotions such as anger, frustration and depression, leaving one calm yet energetic, focused yet relaxed , resulting in a decreased heart rate and lower blood pressure.
At the end of the programs, people experienced a peaceful, stable, joyful state of mind and a sense of connection with everyone around them. A blend of trend and tradition, the program provides practical tools for people to keep their energy and happiness alive and to help them meet the challenges of today’s fast-paced world.
